I love an organized clutter with lots of curiosities. I am drawn to rich colors and fabrics. The art of India, China, Japan, Morocco, Egypt - think of the tatters of Victorian Empire and you have my aesthetic. But, I also have a quirky, somewhat irreverent, sense of humor and like to throw in elements that are slightly off.
This image from Bloesem sparked my imagination. I love the use of the embroidery hoops and the idea of fabric as art, in and of itself.

I love that last painting which is orange-very striking-but then, I love orange and shades of it.
Orange has really grown on me over the years. It took awhile, and I'm still hesitant to introduce it into my wardrobe, but I love it in art.
I LOVE that last picture, love everything about it. You know what you need... you need another tour of Lord Whimsy's house for inspiration! :) Whatever you do, it will look great. I see you with your own wall of paintings mixed in with some fabric.
